Is that a FACT?

Please correct me if I’m wrong on this one, but the last three DVDs I bought (as in PAID for… with REAL money) had a pamphlet from The Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT… original) inserted inside the DVD cover. The pamphlet said in very strong terms that pirate DVDs bought from the street corner and DVD rips downloaded from the Internet is illegal.

You don’t say? So all this time I’ve been buying DVD legally? Get outta here? So I have been breaking no laws, giving money to the ones that made the movies in the first place and all around doing just what you want me doing?

Then why the fuck are you inserting your stinking pamphlets inside my DVDs? Buy some add space on The Pirate Bay (they will properly sell it to you) and aim your marketing money at the ones that need the preaching…

It’s very heard for them when they have their fingers stuck up their ears.

I’ve always wondered about that too.. Why bother hurting your ACTUAL customers. The pirates are just going to get around anything they do, so any preventive measures that might delay pirating is just going to hurt the actual money paying consumer. Unless they buy a pirated copy. Then they’ll have no problem, go figure
